Mariann Norrbom has practised as an attorney specialising in labour and employment law for more than 25 years.

In 1998, Mariann Norrbom left the law firm Bech-Bruun, where she - besides being head partner of the labour and employment law department participated in the management of the law firm - and established the specialist law firm Norrbom Vinding together with Attorney Jørgen Vinding. Today, as the managing partner of Norrbom Vinding, she divides her time between case work and the management of the law firm, business development and consolidating the law firm's international relations.

Since 1990, Mariann Norrbom has been an external examiner at the faculty of law at the University of Copenhagen, and since 1991, a court-appointed counsel of the Danish Supreme Court.

In an international context, Mariann Norrbom participated in the establishment of the European Employment Lawyers Association, where she is still a member of the board. Further, she is a member of the board of the International Society for Labour and Social Security Law, and she is now a chairman within the framework of the International Bar Association's Labour and Employment Law Committee.

Norrbom Vinding is a member of the international alliance ius laboris, which now covers more than 30 countries and includes more than 1,000 labour and employment lawyers engaged in international and cross-border work within the field of labour and employment law. Mariann Norrbom participates in the management of the alliance as a member of the board and the executive committee.
