Liudmila Velinskaya, Soprano
Liudmila Velinskaya was born on 5th May 1982 in Sochi, Russia. She started singing at a very early age performing folk music. At the age of 12 she worked as choir conductor.
She studied singing at the Musical College of Sochi with Alik Tunayanz and at the Moscow Conservatory with Klara Kadinskaya. She was awarded First Prize at the International Competition The Hope of Europe in Sochi, Second Prize at the International Competition Anemos in Rome, Third Prize at the International Competition Giuseppe Di Stefano in Motta SantAnastasia and Second Prize at the International Competition Bellini in Caltanissetta.
She studied with Tom Krause and Vito Maria Brunetti. She finished Moscow Conservatory in 2010 and she is currently continuing her studies in Aspirantura.
Liudmila Velinskaya sang Marfa Tsars bride in 2009, Musetta Boheme and Lucia Lucia di Lammermoor in 2010.
