Kitajenko receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Winners of the International Classical Music Awards 2015 have just been announced!

At this year's Award Ceremony of the International Classical Music Awards, on 28 March in Ankara, Dimitri Kitaenko will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. "With Dimitri Kitaenko we honor a conductor with a long list of first-rate recordings and, first of all, outstanding complete recordings of the symphonies by Shostakovich, Prokofiev, Scriabin and Tchaikovsky. He has marked the interpretation of these works like nobody else", says jury president Remy Franck.

The ICMA-Jury has 16 members representing different media from 13 countries. The ICMA are the only international music awards focusing audio and video recordings. Award Ceremony and gala concert will take place on 28 March in the Turkish capital of Ankara, hosted by the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra.
