Stine Marie Fischer

Biography

Born in Brandenburg / Germany, Stine Marie Fischer has studied at both the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig and later the Hochschule für Musik Frankfurt/Main with Prof. Hedwig Fassbender. During her studies in the class of Hedwig Fassbender, Stine Marie Fischer started to perform at the Frankfurt Opera. Stine Marie is a member of the Staatsoper Stuttgart from 2016 on, where she performed Wagners Erda („Das Rheingold“ and „Siegfried“), Waltraute („Götterdämmerung“), the title-role in Bizets „Carmen“, Polina in Tschaikowskys „Pique Dame“, Princess Clarice in Prokofjews „L'amour des trois oranges“, Holofernes in Vivaldis „Juditha triumphans“ and appeared in concerts with the Staatsorchester Stuttgart with Mahlers 2.Sinfonie.

She was a guest at Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf-Duisburg (2017, 2023), L’Opéra Monte Carlo (2013), Semperoper Dresden (2021), Staatsoper Berlin (2017) and Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels (2015). In 2019, she returned to Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie for Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Tale of Tsar Saltan and covered the title role in Bizet’s Carmen in 2022. Stine Marie Fischer has been a regular at Oper Frankfurt since 2010. 2025 will be her debut at Teatro Real in Madrid. She has worked with directors including Andrea Breth, Dmitri Tcherniakov, Jossi Wieler, Brigitte Fassbaender, Nicola Hümpel, Stephan Kimmig, Armin Petras, Axel Ranisch and Marco Štorman.

Stine Marie Fischer performed under the baton of conductors such as Alain Altinoglu, Sylvain Cambreling, Titus Engel, Ivan Fischer, Cornelius Meister, Stefano Montanari, Franck Ollu, Kristiina Poska, Helmut Rilling, Marc Soustrot, Lorenzo Viotti, as well as Sebastian Weigle and performed with orchestras including Frankfurter Opern- und Museumsorchester, Konzerthaus-Orchester Berlin, Lietuvos valstybinis simfoninis orkestras, Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo, Orchestre symphonique de la Monnaie Bruxelles, Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden, Staatskapelle Berlin, Staatsorchester Stuttgart, and Symphoniker Hamburg.
